When we first met with Urban Smart Growth about The Ellison, our team aligned quickly with the development company’s goals of urban renewal. Together, we reimagined a historic, beachfront apartment building into The Ellison, a destination boutique hotel. Majestic Hospitality was enlisted for the conceptual design and planning, market assessment, feasibility study, and project management. Along with many original fixtures still in place, the historic building came with permitting and environment entitlement challenges, successfully navigated by our team. The Ellison opened in summer of 2018 to positive reviews and local press.
