As historic as it is legendary, it was an honour to envision and secure the planning permission for the first all-new golf resort in Pinehurst in over 20 years. Spread out across 1,500+ acres, Pineforest at Dormie Club is comprised of a luxury resort hotel, two golf courses, natural and artificial lakes, several hundred homesites, and stewardship of old-growth forests. Our purview included the feasibility study, brand selection, contract negotiation, and entitlements. In order to make the project viable, we needed to obtain government-backed bonds and subsidies for infrastructure development. The project was entitled and sold in 2017.
